As you can tell from my blog, food and photography has always been my passion. I decided to try and get all professional with my cakes so I could actually sell them. The cake below is one of my latest – lemon curd filling and a sassy edible flower design with gold leaf to finish.
My first wedding cake went down a treat, despite having to bake it in a combi-oven (nightmare to say the least). The top tier is lavender, middle tier is raspberry, pistachio and rose water followed by lemon curd for the bottom tier.
Drip cakes are all the rage at the moment and I love them. This is one of my favourite elegant drip cakes fit for a queen.
My other half is ever so slightly addicted to anime, so I did a DBZ Nutella cake with Dragon Ballz made from fondant.
A selection of some of my drip cakes done over the past few months.
CakeFace has also ventured into some more patisserie style cakes like the Fraisier cake and raspberry pistachio cheesecake below.
Oh, and I also do cupcakes!
